Chorionic villus sampling,
especially when performed between 56 and 66 days of gestation, has been
associated with this disorder, further suggesting that it is due to a
vascular disruptive event.
ULTRASOUND
Transverse amputations of the
limbs.
Variable and ranges
from absent digits to severe deficiencies of all four limbs.
Malformations of the mouth.
Micrognathia.
Vestigial tongue.
Ankylosis of the
tongue to the hard palate, the floor of the mouth or lips (glossopalatine
ankylosis).
