Camptodactyly is irreducible (fixed) flexion of one or more digits. This may
result in a clenched fist.
- In the hand it usually
involves the fifth finger but may involve other fingers as well.
- May be associated
clinodactyly.

- Isolated camptodactyly may be
inherited as an autosomal dominant trait.
- Part of a syndrome:
- Trisomy 8.
- Trisomy 10q.
- Freeman-Sheldon
syndrome.
- Trisomy
18.
- Trisomy 13.
- Pena-Shokeir syndrome.
- Smith-Lemli-Opitz
syndrome.
