- Size varied from 2-12mm.
- Mean cyst size in
karyotypically abnormal fetuses = 7.1mm. (range = 4-14mm).
- Mean cyst size in isolated
cysts = 6.35mm. (range 3.1-12mm).
- The lack of a critical value
for cyst size is consistent with the findings of numerous other
investigators.
- Cyst size is probably a
reflection of gestational age when the cysts are imaged relative to the
time of their ultimate resolution.
- The natural course of choroid
plexus cysts are resolution by the end of the second trimester.
