The univentricular heart is a heart that has three chambers:
- Two atrial chambers.
- One functional ventricle. A
second rudimentary ventricular chamber may be present.
- The atrial chambers connect
to the ventricle by one or two atrioventricular valves (cor triloculare
biatriatum).
