- Sinus rhythm with 1:1 conduction rate.
- Regular rhythm with some beat-to-beat variation.
- Rate of 140 +/- 20 beats / minute at 20 weeks of gestation and 130 +/- 20 beats / minute near term.
- Physiological bradycardia.
- Rhythm is best assessed with either M-mode through an atrium and ventricle or by pulsed doppler with
the doppler gate insonating both the mitral and aortic valves.
