A single case of antenatal diagnosis of fetal urinary bladder perforation
and the development of fetal urinary ascites (1).
- Spontaneous.
- Bladder outlet obstruction causing
urinary ascites secondary to urine extraversation through the kidneys and
pelvicalyceal system.
- Distended, partially empty
urinary bladder.
- Fetal ascites without signs
of hydrops.
- Defect in the bladder may be
demonstrated.
- Hydronephrosis due to
retroperitoneal fluid accumulation.
